| Zarząd Arctic Paper S.A. („Spółka”, „Emitent”) informuje iż w związku z trwającymi pracami nad rocznym jednostkowym i skonsolidowanym sprawozdaniem finansowym Emitenta za 2017 rok oraz przeprowadzonymi testami na utratę wartości aktywów Arctic Paper Investment AB (spółka posiadająca 100% udziałów w Arctic Paper Grycksbo AB, „APG”), w dniu dzisiejszym podjął decyzję o dokonaniu odpisów z tytułu utraty wartości udziałów posiadanych przez Emitenta w wyżej wymienionej spółce w wysokości około 24 milionów złotych w sprawozdaniu skonsolidowanym oraz około 42 miliony złotych w sprawozdaniu jednostkowym. Odpis z tytułu utraty wartości wynika ze zmian założeń testu utraty wartości przeprowadzonego metodą zdyskontowanych przepływów pieniężnych w zakresie wolumenu produkcji i cen sprzedaży oraz planowanych inwestycji. Odpis spowoduje obniżenie wyniku brutto Emitenta oraz wartości sumy bilansowej w skonsolidowanym i jednostkowym sprawozdaniu finansowym Emitenta za rok 2017. Jednocześnie Zarząd Spółki informuje o podjętej w dniu dzisiejszym decyzji o zmianie założeń odnośnie okresu ekonomicznej użyteczności aktywów spółki Rottneros AB z siedzibą w Szwecji wynikających z rozliczenia ceny nabycia tej spółki, w efekcie czego zmianie ulegnie całkowity koszt amortyzacji w roku 2017 i 2016. W związku z tym w 2017 roku koszt amortyzacji będzie zmniejszony o około 19 milionów złotych, co będzie miało wpływ na zwiększenie skonsolidowanego wyniku brutto Grupy kapitałowej Emitenta za 2017. W 2016 roku koszt amortyzacji zostanie zmniejszony o około 19 milionów złotych, co będzie miało wpływ na zwiększenie skonsolidowanych kapitałów własnych Emitenta poprzez zyski zatrzymane. Zarząd Emitenta wskazuje, że na dzień sporządzenia niniejszego raportu bieżącego, nie zostało jeszcze zakończone badanie skonsolidowanego i jednostkowego sprawozdania finansowego Grupy Kapitałowej i Emitenta za 2017 rok dlatego ostateczna wartość utworzonego odpisu aktualizującego oraz korekty amortyzacji zostanie zaprezentowana w skonsolidowanym i jednostkowym sprawozdaniu finansowym Emitenta za rok 2017, które będzie opublikowane w dniu 9 kwietnia 2018 r. Current report number 07/2018 Dated: April 4th 2018 Subject: One-off events affecting the results of Arctic Paper SA and Arctic Paper Capital Group General legal basis: Art. 17 sec. 1 of MAR – inside information Content: The Management Board of Arctic Paper S.A. (the "Company") hereby informs that in reference to the ongoing audit of standalone and consolidated annual financial statements for 2017 and conducted impairment test on assets of Arctic Paper Investment AB (company owning 100% of shares in Arctic Paper Grycksbo AB), as of today a decision was taken to write-down the value of impaired shares amounting to approximately PLN 24 million on consolidated level and of PLN 42 million on standalone level. The abovementioned write-down is a result of the change of assumptions of the impairment test (conducted according to the discounted cash-flows method) as to the production volume, sales prices and planned investments. The impairment write-down will decrease the gross result and assets value in the consolidated and standalone financial statements of the Company for 2017. In the same time, the Management Board informs about the today’s decision to change the assumptions regarding estimated useful life of assets in its subsidiary Rottneros AB(seated in Sweden) resulting from purchase price allocation of that entity, effectively the total depreciation cost for 2017 and 2016 will be adjusted. As a result of that change, the depreciation cost of 2017 will decrease by PLN 19 million, which in turn will increase the gross consolidated result of the Group for 2017. The depreciation cost for 2016 will be decreased by approximately PLN 19 million, which will result in an increase of consolidated equity of the Company via the retained earnings. The Management Board of the Company indicates that as at the date of publication of this report the 2017 annual audit of consolidated and standalone financial statements of the Group and the Company has not been finalized, therefore the final amount of the impairment write-down and depreciation adjustment will be presented in the consolidated and standalone financial statements of the Company for 2017 which will be published on the 9th of April 2018.
