| Na podstawie art. 62 ust. 8 ustawy z dnia 29 lipca 2005 r. o ofercie publicznej i warunkach wprowadzania instrumentów finansowych do zorganizowanego systemu obrotu oraz o spółkach publicznych Kierownictwo Wyższego Szczebla KULCZYK OIL VENTURES INC. ( "KOV“) informuje, iż w Kanadzie, za pośrednictwem systemu SEDAR publikowana jest aktualizacja informacji o testach odwiertu Lempuyang-1 w Bloku L w Brunei. W ramach prac nad odwiertem Lempuyang-1 wydzielono w tym odwiercie dwie strefy stanowiące główny obszar zainteresowania i przeprowadzenia testów. O testach strefy położonej niżej KOV informował raporcie bieżącym nr 8/2011 z dnia 8 lutego 2011 r. Celem kolejnego testu było zbadanie górnej części strefy wyższej (tzw. niebieskiej), która w ramach trójwymiarowego badania sejsmicznego została zidentyfikowana jako jeden z głównych obiektów prac. Prace zostały wstrzymane po wykryciu usterki mechanicznej urządzeń pracujących pod ziemią, które straciły szczelność zapewniającą odpowiednie ciśnienie. Prowadzone badania pozwoliły na zidentyfikowanie gazu, ale mechaniczna usterka uniemożliwiła określenie natężenia przepływu i wielkości rezerwuaru. W opinii Kierownictwa Wyższego Szczebla KOV testy wskazały na obecność węglowodorów w strefach zidentyfikowanych w trakcie wierceń i interpretacji rejestrów z odwiertów i chociaż nie można było ocenić wydajności, to jednak zaobserwowany przepływ węglowodorów jest zachęcający do prowadzenia dalszych poszukiwań w Bloku L. Interwał między 2.849 m a 2.867 m MDRT (głębokość mierzona wg pomiarowej głębokości względnej) w niebieskiej strefie został sperforowany. Zanim doszło do usterki mechanicznej, której rezultatem było wstrzymanie prac, gaz wydostawał się przez przewód wydobywczy i spalał się na powierzchni. Jak do tej pory testy odwiertu Lempuyang-1 zidentyfikowały obecność gazu w obu interwałach (w wyżej położonej strefie - niebieskiej i niższej – różowej). Testy zostaną wznowione po dostarczeniu całości niezbędnego zamiennego sprzętu testującego. Operator szacuje, że sprowadzenie go zajmie do 4 tygodni. Partnerzy joint venture dla Bloku L w Brunei uaktualnią program i harmonogram testów odwiertu Lukut-1 po uprzednim określeniu najlepszego sposobu na efektywne przeprowadzenie testów i zarządzanie kosztami. Title: Update on the testing of the Lempuyang-1 well in Brunei Block L Legal basis: other regulations Content: Pursuant to Article 62.8 of the Act of 29 July 2005 on Public Offering, Conditions Governing the Introduction of Financial Instruments to Organised Trading, and Public Companies, the Senior Management of KULCZYK OIL VENTURES INC. (‘Kulczyk Oil’, ’KOV’), hereby informs that it has published the news release concerning operations update on the testing of the Lempuyang-1 well in Brunei Block L, filed with the SEDAR system in Canada. Two main zones of interest were intersected during the drilling of the Lempuyang-1 well. KOV informed on testing operations of the lower of these zones in the current report No. 8/2011 of February 8, 2011. This second test was designed to evaluate the upper part of the Blue Zone which had been identified on 3D seismic as one of the primary targets of the drilling operation. The test was terminated due to a down-hole mechanical failure which resulted in the loss of pressure integrity of the downhole test equipment. The test identified gas but the mechanical failure meant that no flow rates or volumes could be determined as the well had just started to clean up. In the opinion of the Management of Kulczyk Oil the recent testing has indicated the presence of mobile hydrocarbons in zones identified by drilling and log interpretation. Although KOV was unable to determine a production rate, the observed flow of hydrocarbons is encouraging for future exploration efforts on Block L. The interval between 2,849 to 2,867 metres measured depth below rotary table (“MDRT”) was perforated. Prior to the mechanical failure, which lead to the suspension of testing operations, gas was entering the tubing and the annulus and was being flared at surface.The Lempuyang-1 well tests have so far identified gas in both the target intervals (Upper (Blue) and Lower (Pink) zones). Testing will resume at a future date after all required replacement testing equipment has been delivered. The Operator has estimated that it will take up to 4 weeks to source the required equipment. The joint venture partners in Brunei Block L will revisit the testing plan and timetable for the Lukut-1 well test, following an internal assessment of the best way to achieve efficiency in testing and management of costs.
