| RB 40/2010 Information on Candidate to AmRest Supervisory Board ;The Management Board of AmRest Holdings SE (“AmRest","Issuer") informs about the motion received on June 21th 2010 from one of the AmRest shareholders, Warburg Pincus Holdings VII B.V., with its registered head office in Amsterdam, to appoint Mr. Joseph P.Landy (“Candidate") to AmRest Supervisory Board during Ordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting on June 30th 2010.;Joseph P. Landy is Co-President of Warburg Pincus LLC, where he has been engaged in all aspects of private equity investing since 1985. He is jointly responsible for the management of the firm, including the formulation of strategy, oversight of investment policy and decisions, leadership of the firm's executive management committee and the coordination of limited partner communications. Mr. Landy currently serves as a director of Bausch and Lomb, The Cobalt Group, and Telcordia Technologies. He also serves on the National Board of the Boy Scouts of America and is chair of its Innovation Council Committee.;Mr. Landy holds a B.S. degree in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from The Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University. He is a frequent speaker at industry events concerning the many aspects of private equity and venture capital investing.;In accordance with the statement received from the candidate AmRest informs that Mr. Joseph P.
